HOMELESS HUB
Since 2015, Marathi Katta Australia has actively participated in the annual Macarthur Homeless Hub Day, an event dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness by providing essential items and services.
During this event, care packs containing everyday necessities such as toothpaste, shaving foam, razors, deodorant, beanies, soap, socks, and ponchos are distributed to those in need. These are items many of us take for granted, but they can make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
The primary aim of the Homeless Hub is to engage with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and connect them to essential support services. Organised by the Macarthur Homeless Committee, the event brings together more than 30 local service providers, working collaboratively to assist those in need within the region.
